Fairchild, chairman of the Niagara Falls Association executive committee, asking for continued cooperation in presenting to the public the question of the appropriation for park property at Niagara Falls, 25 Feb. 1885; telegram petition, 30 Apr. 1885, signed by 23 prominent Buffalo citizens, urging Governor Hill to sign the Niagara Falls Park bill, with a notice from the Buffalo Evening News about the petition and Hill's decision to sign the bill; and an abstract of the 1885 New York Legislature proceedings when the bill for the Niagara Reservation was introduced and passed.
